How it works

  1. Press record

Okie Dokie captures your microphone and the call audio on your computer. It works with Zoom, Teams, Meet, or a meeting room, and no bot joins the call.

  2. Get a transcript

The audio is transcribed with a speech provider you set up using your own key, so you know exactly where it goes.

  3. Get the notes

A language model of your choice writes the summary and tasks. Run one locally with Ollama or LM Studio and the text stays on your computer too.

Works with

  • OpenAI
  • Anthropic
  • Deepgram

Where your meetings go

Short answer: nowhere you didn't send them.

Kept on your computer

  • Recordings, transcripts and notes
  • A local database and plain files in your user folder
  • Your settings and provider keys

Sent only where you choose

  • Audio, to the speech provider whose key you added
  • Transcript text, to the language model you picked
  • Nothing at all, if both run locally

Never

  • No account or sign-in
  • No usage analytics or tracking
  • No crash reports unless you turn them on
  • No automatic update checks
